Join the IHL at the "Druk in Leuven" Literary Festival

International House Leuven will join one of the events of "Druk in Leuven". Professors Steven Van Hecke and Lien Verpoest in debate the question "'Will Europe survive the 21st century?'" in English with the Belarusian author Sasja Filipenko in the University Library.

About the Event

What power does Europe still have, for example against heavyweight Russia? KU Leuven political science professor Steven Van Hecke devotes a new essay to it and discusses it with Lien Verpoest, professor of Diplomatic History, and with the Belarusian author Sasja Filipenko, who lives in exile because of his criticism of Lukashenko and Putin.

'If you want to know what modern, young Russia thinks,' says Nobel Prize winner Svetlana Aleksievich, 'read Sasha Filipenko!'. Or come and listen to him in Leuven.
