Open consultations in Leuven

Every Tuesday we have an open consultation. You're welcome to visit us.

No appointment needed, stop by when you like. We will help you with any questions you have about life in and around Leuven or even if you're just considering moving to the region.

IHL's Tuesday consultations

Address: Bondgenotenlaan 103, 3000 Leuven
Timings: Open on Tuesdays, 10.00-16.00 only.
Good to know: Ring the doorbell, come past the pop-up shop and go up the stairs in front of you. If you've beat us to the glass door, come on through; we're the second office on the right after the comfy chairs.

We can answer general questions about living in Leuven, but should you have a question that would be better suited for a lawyer, we recommend booking a session for our immigraiton consultations.

The IHL office will be closed for consultations the following days in 2025:

  • September 30: no online consultations (walk-ins only)
  • November 11: closed for holiday
  • November 25: IHL team at all-day event
  • December 23: Winter holiday
  • December 30: Winter holiday

Our info hub is already a great place to get some basic answers, which we will be happy to elaborate on in a meeting.

How to find us

We work across two locations, and are also out and about a lot. So if you need to see us outside a specific event, or our Tuesday consultations it's best to email us ahead of time.

IHL Events

Address: Tiensevest 60, 3000 Leuven
Timings: Open during events
Good to know: Check the event description; many of our social events happen around town. If you’ve never been to our building before: it’s a girls’ school from the 1920’ies built to keep girls inside and other people outside 😊 In other words, it looks a bit uninviting. Walk up the stairs at the street entrance and when you enter the central atrium, it’s to your left. You should see our big flag, come through the doors and we'll be there.
