Young adults (18 - 35 years old) who are exploring their path and who want to share their journey with others.
About the event
On Tuesday, the 3rd of March, the seventh session of Emblaze, a series of events where young adults can express themselves, connect with others and grow in a safe space will take place at the International House.
Emblaze events feature:
- Personal speeches
- Fun and interactive breaks where you can get to know the other participants
- Mini-workshops around specific public speaking aspects (e.g. storytelling, metaphors, and pauses) from a structured and spontaneous point of view
- The events are strongly centered on interaction, usually in groups of two or three, sometimes group reflections and then sometimes (willing) people speaking for the whole group. Having said this, normally everyone will have at least a couple of interactions during our events, but if for example we'd have someone very shy / socially anxious we'd do our very best to cater to their needs. Safety is a very important value for us :)

- 18h45-19h: Doors open
- 19h-19h30: Introduction + First Interezzo (e.g. sharing something about yourself using a paperclip as a prompt)
- 19h30-20h: Personal speeches
- 20h-20h10: Break
- 20h10-20h30: Second Interezzo
- 20h30-21h15: Mini-workshop about the power of tension in public speaking
- 21h15-21h30: Ending

When & Where: Tuesday the 3rd of March from 19h to 21h30 at the International House - Tiensevest 60, 3000 Leuven
Price: Free
Will there be food & drinks? Yes! Drinks (water, tea, kidibul) & snacks (healthy & unhealthy) will be provided.
