Leuven rolls out new drinking fountains

Leuven is expanding its free drinking water offer with seven new water fountains being placed in the parks around the area.

Did you know there are plenty of spots around town to fill up your water bottle for free?

You can get water in more than 10 city buildings in greater Leuven, and they are adding 7 new outdoor water fountains to a number of parks.

For a full list of where you can top up your water bottle, check out the city's website (page in Dutch only).

Three new open-air water points have just been unveiled:

  • Park Belle-Vue (Kessel-Lo)
  • Bruulpark (Leuven)
  • Armand Meyswijk (Wijgmaal)

Another four are planned for: Sint-Lambertusplein (Heverlee), Casablanca-wijk (Kessel-Lo), Ymeria-site (Wijgmaal), Urban Sports Park (Wilsele)
