Leuven Scavenger Hunt

Join us for a team based scavenger hunt across Leuven!

Our starting and ending point will be announced soon, so make sure to register (via button below) as going so we can keep in touch. At the meeting point, the rules will be explained, we’ll get everyone set up on the app that will be used to run the challenges, and we’ll split everyone into smaller teams (large groups of friends will be split up).

Once everyone’s ready, we’ll start the hunt and play, exploring the city and completing various challenges for roughly three hours, meeting back at the start location to announce the winners and give out a small prize.

The host has previously run similar successful scavenger hunt games in Kyoto and Seoul, and is excited to bring them to his new home city. The event is free, but there’ll be a donation box (suggested minimum €5) to cover the costs of running the event and the prize.

What you’ll need to bring:

• A fully charged phone (iOS or Android) with internet access
  - a little bit of cash
• Consider a USB-battery just in case
• Comfortable shoes
• Enthusiasm

You may want to download the app ahead of time at home, details will be sent out via Meetup a few days before.

Please also ensure you keep your attendance status up to date on Meetup.

A note on accessibility: While great care and consideration has been taken during the design of the challenges to ensure the majority are open to people of all abilities, by the nature of the event, not all are fully accessible, team make-up will try to take this into account, but accommodations, such as explaining the rules up-front, will willingly be made.
