Cooking Workshop: Tiramisù, a Classic Italian Dessert

Tiramisù is one of the most traditional desserts in Italy and has become very popular worldwide. In Italy, tiramisù recipes are passed down through generations and followed religiously. But there are many different versions of this classic dessert. 

In this hands-on workshop, you will prepare your own tiramisù and bring home your delicious hand-made dessert.

We will use a simple recipe, very similar to the one used at Beccherie in Treviso, the alleged origin of the famous dessert.

The workshop will be taught by Francesco Gariboldi, who worked as a professional baker in Italy, with assistance from Maya Parson of Roots & Fruits: Leuven Local Food Connection.

For the workshop, you will need to bring with you:
● a hand mixer with whisk attachments;
● 3 small mixing bowls (diameter ~10cm);
● 1 large mixing bowl (diameter ~20cm);
● a silicone or rubber spatula;
● an apron.

Price: €12,73 (€11 + €1,73 eventbrite fees)

The price includes the cost of all the ingredients and a pan/lid to take home your delicious creation!

Please be aware:
● Tiramisù is made with raw eggs which are not cooked prior to consumption.
Eating tiramisù may not be suitable for pregnant women, young children, or
those with compromised immune systems;
● You’ll also bring home three egg whites and a bonus tasty recipe to use them.

Registration is required via Eventbrite and will close on November 17th at 19:00. Refunds are possible before November 17th at 19:00 (please note that refunds do not include the Eventbrite fee of €1,73).
