Free workshop: About Belgium

Being in Belgium, be it by professional or personal choice, can turn out to be a bit more complicated than expected. The Belgian structures, cultures and "ways of doing" are quite complex. On top of that, finding your way in a Dutch-speaking environment if you are not able to speak the languages (yet) is a challenge. Of course the internet, Google Translate and the likes, can alleviate the most pressing needs, but in order to navigate your way through your daily life in this quirky country that's to become your new home, you may need to dive in a bit deeper.

Our moderator for the workshop is HR consultant and career coach Natalie Neyt, who made cultural integration her speciality and has already given many workshops on this topic in a number of corporations in our region.

During this three-hour interactive workshop "About Belgium", you will get a first introduction to the history of Belgium, structure of Belgium, typical Belgian values and habits, basic practical information such as health insurance, what to do in the event of illness, …  The information and tools provided will get you started on the road to integration and a comfortable life in Leuven. The workshop will be in English.

The workshops is offered for free*, but the number of seats is limited to 20. Coffee, tea and water will be provided.
